Welcome to Devbhumi Tours Services. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and the booking of any tour packages offered by us. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking any tour, package, or service with Devbhumi Tours Services ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Traveller", "Client", "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Devbhumi Tours Services. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind all members of the group and that all members have agreed to these terms.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and issuance of a written confirmation by Devbhumi Tours Services via email or official communication.
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- Booking requests must be submitted at least 7β14 days prior to the departure date for standard packages. For peak season (AprilβJune and OctoberβDecember), we recommend booking at least 30 days in advance.
- All travellers must provide valid identification documents (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID) at the time of booking.
- Devbhumi Tours Services reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion without being required to provide a reason.
- A booking confirmation email constitutes the official contract. Verbal confirmations are not binding.
3. Payment Policy
Advance Payment
A non-refundable advance payment of 25%β50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. The exact percentage depends on the package and destination.
Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the departure date. For international tours, full payment is required 15 days prior to departure.
Payment Methods
- Bank Transfer / NEFT / RTGS to our official account
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) to our registered number
- Demand Draft payable to "Devbhumi Tours Services"
- Cash (for in-office bookings only, receipts provided)
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be communicated in writing to info@devbhumitoursservices.com. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted. The following cancellation charges apply:

- Cancellation charges for Char Dham Yatra packages may differ due to advance registrations and government permits. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
- No refund will be issued for unused services, early departures, or voluntary changes after commencement of the tour.
- Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 10β15 working days of cancellation approval.
5. Changes to Itinerary
Devbhumi Tours Services reserves the right to modify or substitute itinerary elements β including hotels, transport, and routing β due to operational requirements, weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. Suitable alternatives of equivalent or higher standard will be provided wherever possible.
- Changes requested by the client after booking confirmation may attract additional charges.
- We do not guarantee specific room types, vehicle models, or meal preferences unless confirmed in writing.
- In case of natural calamities, strikes, government restrictions, or force majeure events, the company will endeavour to reschedule at no extra cost.
6. Liability & Disclaimer
Devbhumi Tours Services acts as a tour organiser and facilitator. Our total liability in any claim is limited to the total tour cost paid by the client to us.
We are not liable for:
- Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings
- Personal injury, illness, or death arising from participation in the tour
- Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by airlines, railways, hotels, or third-party vendors
- Any loss or inconvenience arising from force majeure events (see Section 9)
- Acts or omissions of third-party service providers
- Consequences arising from the client's failure to comply with legal or health requirements
7. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for assessing their own fitness and health suitability for the tours booked, particularly for high-altitude destinations such as Kedarnath, Badrinath, Chopta, and Kashmir.
- Clients with pre-existing medical conditions must disclose them at the time of booking.
- Devbhumi Tours Services recommends consulting a physician before undertaking high-altitude or strenuous adventure activities.
- We reserve the right to refuse participation to any traveller whose health or behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
- Our guides carry basic first-aid kits. For serious medical emergencies, clients will be assisted in reaching the nearest medical facility.
8. Passport, Visa & Documents
It is the sole responsibility of the traveller to ensure possession of all valid travel documents including:
- Valid passport (with minimum 6 months validity for international travel)
- Required visas and entry permits
- Inner Line Permits (ILP) where applicable (e.g., Arunachal Pradesh, Lakshadweep)
- Government-issued photo ID for domestic travel
- Religious registrations where required (e.g., Char Dham Yatra portal registration)
Devbhumi Tours Services will not be liable for any loss arising from the traveller's failure to carry proper documentation.
9. Force Majeure
Devbhumi Tours Services shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, landslides, earthquakes, cyclones)
- Epidemics or pandemics and related government restrictions
- War, civil unrest, terrorism, or government action
- Strikes, lockouts, or industrial action
- Road closures, route diversions, or transport disruptions
In force majeure situations, we will make best efforts to reschedule the tour. Refunds in such cases are subject to recoverable amounts from hotels, transporters, and other service providers.
10. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our tour packages unless explicitly stated. We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical emergencies and hospitalisation
- Trip cancellation and curtailment
- Loss of baggage and personal effects
- Emergency evacuation (especially for high-altitude tours)
- Flight/transport delays
Devbhumi Tours Services can assist in connecting you with reputable travel insurance providers upon request.
11. Conduct & Behaviour
All travellers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner throughout the tour.
- Consumption of alcohol or controlled substances in ways that disturb fellow travellers or violate local laws is strictly prohibited.
- Dress codes at religious sites must be adhered to strictly.
- Travellers must follow all instructions issued by Devbhumi Tour Managers and Guides for safety and logistics purposes.
- Any client whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, illegal, or harmful may be removed from the tour without refund.
12. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information (name, phone, email, ID details) solely for the purpose of arranging travel services. This data is:
- Not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes
- Shared with hotels, transporters, and relevant service providers strictly for tour execution
- Stored securely and deleted after the statutory retention period
By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described above.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
